More about Dr. Davis
Dramatic student growth is a matter of belief systems of adults regarding children and proven leadership with a vision! Collaboratively, with a dedicated team of teachers and classified staff; community members who desired better; and, students who understood what was expected, Dr. Davis and his teams accomplished dramatic results in school communities considered “The Worst” or “written off” slated to be taken over by the state. Whether Principal (Raymond Ave., Century Park, 54th St., and Audubon) or as Director of Instruction for the Intensive Support and Innovation Division (Washington HS, Crenshaw HS, Dorsey Hs, Gardena HS, Banning HS), DeWayne could arguably be considered one of LAUSD’s most successful administrators, however he gives all credit to the amazing teams!
